A messago from Cape Finisterre announces that the Umgeni will reach England to-day. Sealed orders await the captain. Resolutions will be moved at Sunday's demonstration condemning the deportations, welcoming the deporteds, and demanding their return to South Africa, also summoning the Imperial Government to withhold its assent to the Indemnity Bill. The Management Committee rejected by a small majority an additional clause in favour of twenty-four hours' strike unless the Government acceded to the terms of the resolution. "OUT AND CAN REMAIN OUT." (Received February 24th. 12.20 a.m.) PRETORIA, February 23. Mr Creswell, tbe Labour candidate to represent Krugorsdorp in tho Provincial Council, addressing tho electors, declared that the deporteds were out of it now and, so far as ho was concerned, they could remain out. Ho would fight against party fanaticism until it was cleaned out. None of the audience protested.
