'——* -—— THE "UNWRITTEN LAW" LN GERMAN POLAND. {By Cable.-*-Presß BERLIN, February 22. Count Mielzynski was acquitted on the charge of manslaughter in connexion with the shooting of his wife and nephew. Witnesses described the Count's nephew &s a drunken rake. Letters were read showing that he had had culpable relations with the Countess for a considerable time. Count Mielzynski had remained in custody since his arre6t, although he offered hail of £50,000. The prosecution objected to all jurymen with Polish names. The defence refused all official landowners with distinctive German names.
