HORSE SALE.
Messrs Friedlander Bros, had a total entry of 45 mixed classes of horses at their monthly sale at' Ashburton on Friday. There was a good attendance of buyers, and tho sale was the most successful which had been held for several months past. Draught geldings brought from £25 10s. £27, to £28; mares realised £27, £28, £29 10s, £38, up to £49; harness horses brought from £5, £9 ss, £10 ss, up to £13 10®.
