1 There was a fair attendance at the markets yesterday. There was an entry of 4000 sheep, of wluch 2500 were fat sheup and lambs; 60 cattle and 120 pigs were yarded. Prices were: —Extra henry fat'lambs, 22s 6d to 2.95; other lambs, 17s to 21s 6d; fat wethers, 19s to 22s 6d; fat ewes, 13s Gd to 17s 3d; forward lambs, 13 S Od to 15s; store lambs, 9s 6d to 12s 6d; forward wethers, 16s 3d to 17s 2d; store- wethers, Its to 15s 6d; sound-mouth ewes in lamb, 15s to 18s 6d; forward six and eight-tooth ewes, 15s 6d to 18s 6d; failing-mouth ewes, 8s to lls. Cattle: Fat heifers £6 10s to £8; fat cow 3, £6 to £7 17s 6d; two-year-old steers, £6; eighteen months, £3 10s to £4 os; calves, 30s: springers, £6 10 s to £9; cows in profit, £5 10s to £7 15s. Pigs: Baconers, .55s to 70s; porkers, 45s to 50s; stores, 355; small pigs, 6s to 13s. In tho produce yards, prices were:— Heavy sheepskins, 6s, medium ss, lighter 3s 6d; lambskins, ss; calfskins, 3s <3d; hides, 6Jd per ib: wool, 7Jd; crutchings, 4d; locks, 2id; fat, lid. Poultry: Boosters, 6s Id per couple; hens, 2s; pullets, 3s 6d; ducks, os 6d; chiekwheat. 3s 9d per bushel; oats. 2s 4d; feed barley, 3s; beans, 3s 3d; peas, 3s 4d; grass seed, 2s; bran, 5s 9d per sack; sharps, 9s 6d: pea and pigmeal, 9s; oatsheaf chaff, 3s; straw i chaff, Is 6d: potatoes, 9s; swedes, 2s ! «d; apples, 3s per case; pears, 2s. j
