THE END OF THE TJSKAI

The days of work at Christ's College ere over for the first term of 1913, and before setting out on their holidays, the Principal (Mr E. A. Belcher) and the students entertained a large number of friends at a concert last night. During the evening Mr • Belcher thanked the staff and the students for their support and loyalty during tho term. He mentioned that an exhibition of Swedish drill had been given that night for the first time, and ho hoped that it had demonstrated the excellence of the drill, which it was intended to introduce into the College. lno programme was a varied one and that it gave much enjoyment to those present was evidenced by the warm marfner in which the different imdis were received. The Choral Society gave three- part-songs in a thoroughly pleasing manner, and a feature of the entertainment was the presentation of three scenes from "Twelfth Night, , the charactors being pouTtrayed by Carrington, Bush, Mowat, Barnett i., Rendle. and Quane. Songs wwe rendered by Richards and Averill i.. a i>iano solo was contributed by Gardiner, and the lower school sang "Ye Mariners of England." An exhibition of Swedish drill was given by Form 111 .a.
