AUSTRALIAN CADETS.
EULOGISTIC REFERENCES,

Lord Denman, the heads of the defence forces, and tho public generally are eulogistic over the excellent spirit and soldierly bearing of the Cadets.
Tho Press urges the valao of the inspirational effect that the march and the display of patriotism by Australia's young army must have on the older population. The only difficulty was keeping the crowds in check, whose enthusiasm caused frequent invasions of the lino of march.
The "Herald" enumerates amongst the good effects of compulsory training the breaking-up of the larrikin pushes which used to be one of the standing reproaches of the city.

It is estimated that 150,C00 viewed the parade. The 600 Naval Cadets who headed the march, were much admired for their fine discipline and marching.
