MARSHLAND.
The annual meeting of St. Mark' 3 Church, Marshland, was held in the Par sh Hall last- week, there being a largo attendance of parishioners. The Rev. H. Wilkinson presided. Tb.> balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £6. The officers elected for the ensuing year were:—Bishop's warden, Mr ,T. Morton; peoples' warden, Mr W.
Blank; vestry, Messrs E. Rountrce, t>. Trelevan, J. Lango and A. J. Hall Mr C. G. Dalgety moved a hearty vote of thanks to all church workers, specially mentioning the organists and ounday school teachers. Carried by acclamation. At the close of tho meeting Mr and Mrs G. Sands wero presented with a handsome Kaiapo : travelling rug and a brief bag, on their departure for England, and the choir presented Mrs Healey with a handsome salotl bowl, prior to her departuro for , Ashburton. j
