LONDON'S EXPENDITURE. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 22. It is estimated that £2,500,000 will bo expended on toys in London this Christmas, £1,000,000 on jewellery, £500,000 ou • wines and liqueurs, £500,000 on books, and £500,000 on other presents. Compared with 1911, the increase in letters for abroad is 1,000,000, those for Australia showing 558,000 increase, and for New Zealand 142,000. There is a record' influx of Britishers from America and Canada, every liner bting crowded.
