THE REEFTON DEADLOCK.
(MINE-OWNERS CANNOT RESUME WORK. (PERSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) REEFTON t July 15. The chairman of tho Citizens' Committeo has received a communication from tho Consolidated management, on behalf of the Mine-owners' Aesocintion, stating that they cannot resume work in tho mines pending arbitration, as suggested by the Prime Minister. Tho Minors' Union held a meeting yesterday, but nothing of importance occurred.
