SYDNEY, July 15
The Liberal Conference passed a resolution that constant and systematic care should bo 1 given to children by establishing depots furnished with staffs for advising young mothers, and for homo inspection of infanta. In view of tho excessive mortality among illegitimate children, it was urged that special means should bo provided to care for both mother and child for some fixed period after birth. It was nover contended that Mr Fisher's bonus scheme would guarantee that babies would bo. looked after.
