Sir David Groaf, interviewed at Southampton regarding naval matters, said that South Africa was anxious and willing to take her full share of tho responsibilities of tho Empire. LONDON, 'July 14. Tiie Canadian representatives again conferred with tho Imperial Defence Committee, and the progress made ia described as most satisfactory.
Mr Borden and the other Canadian representatives lunched with the King and Queen at Buckingham Palace. Mr Asquith, several Ministers, and Lord Strathcona were present.
