ARGENTINE SHIPMENTS
The Department has received tho following cablegram from Buenos Ayres, dated April 6th: —Tho following shipments of produco were despatched from tho Argentine to the United Kingdom ports during March, 1912 (compared with March, 1911):—Frozen beef, quarters (1912), 179,000.(1911) 250,13(3; chilled beef, quarters (1912), 202,000, (1911) 90.084'; frozen mutton, carcases (1912) 199,000. (1911) 159,876; frozen lamb, carcases (1912), 66,000, (1911) 193,053: butter, cwts (1912), 9516. (1911) 900.
Tho British-New Zealand Meat and Proeluce Company, Ltd., have received the following cable from their T>o_.don eufi'ee, elated April Bth':—Canterbury wethers and maielen ewes: -.8-sGlb, 4-Jd: *3<i-641b, 4„d; 64-7211), 3Jd. North island: -lcWKil'b. 3}d: 56-641 b. 3Jd. Canterbury lamb: 28-3611), old; 36-421U, ojjd; over 4211). ojd. North Inland: 28-_6.b, sid; ' 36-421b, ojd. Beef: Average price all freights. New Zealand hindquarters, 3_d; New Zealand forequarters, 3£d.
