At tho annual meeting of tho Ankburton Trotting Club last night the following resolution was caTriod unanimously:—"That this meeting of members of tho Aehburton Trotting Club enters a strong protest againet the action of the Racing Commission in depriving it of two days' racing in tho year. Seeing that Aehburton is ono of the principal centres for the breeding of trotting horsee in the Dominion, it considers that the Racing- Commission, in depriving it of two days instead of one, as intended, has committed a, gross injustice against breeders and owners of trotting- horses in this locality."
