RANGIORA.
The hoary rain that has prevailed during the greater part of the week has greatly retarded business operations in all lines of grain and produce Generally. A few sales of Hunters and Tuscan wheat have been reported at 3s 3d at coiintry stations, but tho market is ■ decidedly dull and there is almost a total absenco of enquiries from buyers. There is no change to report in oats, grass seed, clovers, peas, etc., while potatoes aro still at the £3 us limit for table Up-to-Dates and Derwonts. Oatsheaf chaff is enquired for up to £4 os per ton for best lots, but there is practically no sale for oat straw or wheat straw chaff.
