Consequently business passing is of a limited nature, merchants and millers aro not keen. Values are: —Prime Pearl and Velvet, 2s 3d to 3s id ; Tuscan and Hunters, 3s 2d io 3s 2Jd.
Oats —Very few linos are offering, and prices vary according to the needs of purchasers, and purposes for ■which stocks are recmired. Best (Trade Gartens, 2s 4d to" 2s od; B grade Gartons, 2s 3d to 2s Id,
Chaff —There is a good demand for local use at about 85s on trucks, for prime, bright- lines of 0.5., although prices obtainable, for shippiug lines hardij- warrant this figure.
