BROOKSIDE.
Tho annual meeting of the TJarishioncrs of St. Luko"s Church, Brookside, was held in the schoolroom on Tuesday evening. The first portion of tho ovening was devoted to the business of the Church. The balance-sheet showed a credit of over £7. A. committee was then formed, the following being elected:—Mr Withell, Misses "Waslibourne, Oliver, M. Stephens, Messrs Witholl, Height and Campbell. The distribution of the Sunday school prizes then took place, after which the meeting formed itself into , a social gathering for the remainder of the evening, and a very enjoyable time was spent.
