OXFORD MARKET.
At the. market yesterday there was an entry of 1000 sheep and 40 cattle. Prices were :—Fat lambs 14s, fat wethers lf»s to 17s Gd, fat ewes 13s to los, unshorn wether hoggets 15s, shorn 8s to !'s. shorn failing ewes and lambs Gs fid to Bs. Two of Mr Vallancc's properties at View Hill were sold by H. Matson and Co.. OS acres, at £18 per acre, to -Mr P. Hawke. and IGO acres, £lo per acre, to -Mr J. "Wells.
