NAPIER WOOL SALES.

(PKZSS ASSOCIATION TE: ~r.nAU.) NAPIER, December 1. The second series of Napier wool sales were held to-day. about 12,000 bales being offeree! to a large attendance ot buyers. Bidding was spirited, more especially for strong wools, and Bradford buve'rs were large operators. Prices for finer wools were a shade lower than at tho previous sales. Two lots super lialfbrecl realised 13d, being the highest nrice obtained. Fine crossbreds avernrfrd from lOd to lid. The top price for halfbreds was 12d, or a tarthing ] OSS than at the last sale. The Americans wero not buying. The classing of some varieties unfavourably afiected prices.
