FOURTH GRADE.
Christchurch defeated Kaiapoi on the Linwood ground, North Park, by 8 points to 6. For Christchurrfi Mason scored two tries, Penlington converting one, and for Kaiapoi 'Mallasch and Cookesley scored tries. Mr G. N. Ormandy refereed. Playing on Sydenham Park Sydenham defeated Linwood by 9 points to nil. For Sydenham Cooper and Fisher scored tries, and Kennedy kicked a penalty goal. Mr Merrinian was leferee.
