After an interesting contest, the forwards on each side b?ing evenly matched," Christchurch A defeated Linwood A on their own ground, by 13 points to nil.- Until midway through the second spell Christchurch had 3 points up, play being very even, but at this stage Hobson, of the Linwood team, was ordered off, and the Greens seemed tp loxe their dash, and Christchurch quickly established a. winning lead. For Christchurch, Barrell, Schramm, and Wf.'stenra scored tric3. Murray ancl Maison converting one each. Mr A. E. Fuller was referee. MerivaJo A playing against their B team on their own ground, defeated the latter by fourteen points to three. For tho A team Miles (2), Beaton (1), and Bennett (I), scored tries, iScott converting one. For the B's Morgan scored a try. Mr H. E. Hiddlestone was re--feree. Belfast defeated Sydenham at Belfast by 9 points to 5." For Sydenham, El wood scored, and Gibb converted. Sir \V. Templeton was referee. Albion defeated Richmond.on the latter's ground by 6 points to nil. Murray and Hood scored tries for the winners. Mr A. Lester was referee. Playing on their own ground, Marist Brothers Old Boys defeated' Christchurch by 9 points to nil. For tbf: win->. ners Holehan, O'Shea, and Horan scored tries. Mr A. H. Noall was referee.
Playing on the Old Boys' ground, Old Boys defeated . Linwood B by 14 points to 8. For t,ho winners Ford (2) and Owles '.!) scored tries. Guthrie converted one and Owles kicked a penalt} , goal. For the losers Terrall and Peacock scored tries, one of which Piper converted. Mr Hickicbottom was referee.
