COLLISION WITH THE POLICE.

BERLIN, March 16,
Eighty per cent, of the workmen employed at Krupp's Germania dockyard at Kiel struck for a half-holiday, in order to protest against the Prussian Franchise Bill. Many workers in the other yards joined them, and 10,000 men «ame out. The strikers came into violent collision with the police. The latter were hard pressed, and were forced to take refuge in adjoining shops, the windows of which were sirashed. Ten demonstrators and several of the police were injured.
