West Christchurch A playing against Sydenham A compiled 108 in the first innings (Reese 27 not out, McCoy 20). Sydenham A responded with 90 (Hobbs 25, Brown 25, Goring 12). Sutcliffe and McCoy bowled well for Wt-st Christchurch and Goring took the Sydenham honours.

Sydenham B batting against East Christchurch B, put on 194 for four wickets (Stephen 30, Hodge 11, James 78, Merriman 48 not out). East could only total 69 (Pearce 11, Lightham 11, West 11 not out). Merriman and James bowled best for Sydenham.

Linwood A and Riccarton met at Lancaster Park, when the former, having first use of the wickets, scored 292 before being dismissed (Worrall 55, Chapman 43, Russell 36, Murray 21, Spencer 19, Carter 14, and Ryan 80 not out). Francis, Jones, and Prebble divided the wickets. Riccarton replied with 46 for 4 wickets (Pearce 24). \Vorrall and Pinwell bowled well.

West Christchurch B were opposed by East Christchurch A, when the latter batted first and totalled 65 (Rowe 26, Bush 15). Hood and Ashhy divided the wickets. West Christchurch replied with 127, (A. The scores in the game between Riccarton B and St. Albans B were:— Riccarton B 134 (Sinclair 42, Caygili 34, Ryde 15). St. Albans B replied with 112 for six wickets (Johnstone 46 not out, McDonald Hamell 16, Flewellen 18).
