Playing against Sydenham A. West Christchurch made 45 (Piercy 20) and A following made 109 (Woods 63, Jacobs 10. Ferguson 11). Hudson' and Wiltshire for Sydenham and Piercy for West Christchurch were the most successful bowlers.

liiccarton met Boys' High School at Hagley Park, when the School batted first, and scored 95 (Miller 26, Blackmore 18, Tattcrsall 15. Patterson 18). Riccarton replied with 168 for three wickets (Clarkson 27, Norman 24, Parkinson 14, Ash by 39 not out, Bassett 48 not out). In the game between Linwood and S:. Albans A tho former had first strike, and totalled 105 (Bullock 21, Simmons 20, Perrin 18, Cook. 14, Wilson 11). Spicer was the most successful bowler. St. Albans replied with 173 fr>:- eight wickets (Graham 50, Taylor 18, Deacon 49, Rix 18 not out, boddmgton 13). Gledhill took seven wickets.

At Lancaster Park East Christchurch were pitted against Sydenham B, when the former, taking strike, ran up 168 (Maclean 47, Ward 22, Atkinson 20, Grant 32, and Twyneham 14). Conradi and Ay ling bowled well. Sydenham replied with 112 (Head 15, Hafferty 18, Ayling 17, and Taylor 14).

College and St. Albans B commenced a match, when the former, batting first, notched 221 (White 06, Bell 3-3, Loudon 17, Prins 18, Meredith-Kaye 15, Harrison 16, Jennings 10, Richards 11). St. Albans, at call of time, had made 52 for two wickets (O'Brien 27 rot out, Day not out 14).
