EAST CHRISTCHURCH v. ST. ALBANS.

St. Albans having first use of the wicket against the Easterners at Lancaster Park, and thanks chiefly to a good partnership by Reese and Wood, and another by Wilson and Sandman, the total reached 145. Carlton bowled capitally, and the fielding was good. Fine bowling by Sandman saw the Eastern batsmen routed for 85, Carlton being the only batsman to make any show. Scores:— ST. ALBAXS.
