LINWOOD v. SYDENHAM.

At Lancaster Park Linwood met Sydenham, and after having first use of the wickets totalled 118, and except for two splendid innings by Johnston and A. E. Ridley, who was still unbeaten at the finish; the innings would have been a gross failure. Bennett being in good fettle with the ball took six wickets for 44.
