OTAGO CRICKET.
(rmxss association- tel_gb_m.) DUNEDIN, February 5. This afternoon the Otago Eleven to jp-lay Auckland for the Plunket Shield met the Next Thirteen at Carisbrook in fine weather. In the first innings the Next Thirteen scored 178 (Baker 37, Chadwick 32). Downes took two wickets for 75, Fisher two for 41. and Macartney seven for 30. The Otago Eleven scored 118 (Rutherford 18 not out, Hopkins 16, Fisher 14, Wordsworth 14 .Wilson 12). Cummings took six wickets for 45, Torrance three for 48, and Godfrew one for 5.
