MATCHES IN AUCKLAND
(press association tj-l_cram.) ACCKLAXD, February 6. The Auckjand Cricket Association's district championship matches, postponed from January 29th, were continued on Saturday in beautiful weather. In the Senior Grade two matches were unfinished, and considerable interest was taken in the Parnell-Noi th Shore match, both teams being equal in points and leading for the Senior Championship. The match, however, was unfinished, and the position remains unaltered. The Senior Grade matches resulted as follows:—Parnell v North Shore: Parnell, first innings, 203 for seven wickets, innings declared closed (Caro 66 not out, A. Jones 50). Hcwden took six wiokets for 101 runs. North Shore, first innings, 88 for seven wickets (Prime 28). Oliff took three wickets for 29. Eden v Grafton: Eden, first innings, 188 for five wickets, innings declared closed (A. E. Relf 112 not out); Grafton, first innings, 119 for two wickets (E. Hoispool 67 not out, S. P. Jones 33). University v Ponsonby: Univer-sitv, first innings, IS6 (Taylor 41, Robinson 38 not out). Woods took five wickets for 75. Ponsonby, first innings, 225 for seven wickete (L. G. Hemu's 73, N. Sneddon 58, W. Robinson 34). Ponsonby won by 33 runs on the first innings, with throe wickets in hand, a two-point win.
