Acceptances for the Plumpton Park Trotting Club's Summer Meeting close at eight o'clock this evening. The Forbury Park Trotting Club intends distributing £1500 in stake money at its February Meeting. Electra (Eagerr-Sirenia), with £SRO to her credit, has won more prizemoney than any other filly in England this season. It is said that in France the Government intend increasing the totalisator percentage from 8 to 9 or 10 per cent. The American crack, Ballot, was among the runners for the Cambridgeshire with top-weight, 9.5, but was never dangerous. Up to the end of October horses owned by the American sportsman, Mr H. P. Whitney, hadi won 29 races in England this season. The stakes totalled £9059.
