ANOTHER GOLD NUGGET. MELBOURNE, December 3. A slug of gold weighing 116oz has been found at Poseidon. TENNIS. (Received December 4th, 12.40 a.m.) In an Invitation Doubles match Long, the American, and Dunlop, defeated Rice and Campbell, 6-4, 6-4, 6-8, 8-6. CHINAMAN MURDERED.
A Chinaman, with his head terribly battered, was found dead in a hut at Glen Innes. It in supposed he was murdered by another Chinaman with whom he quarrelled.
