There was a lnrge attendance at tho Rangiora sales yesterday. In the stock yards the entry was—lo.ooo sheep, 130 cattle, and 200 pigs. Prices were:— Fat lambs 13s 3d to 14s, fat wethers 14s to los, fat ewes 8s 6d to 10s 3d, rape lambs 9s Gd to lis, ewe lambs 13s, store lambs 7s to 9s, store wethers 8s Gd to lis 3d, two-toothed halfbred ewes to 17s 6d, two-toothed crossbred ewes los 6d to 17s Id, full-mouthed ewes 12s to 13s 9d. old ewes Gs to 10s 6d. Cattle-—Springers to £9 10s. fat steers £8. heifers £G os, fat cows £7, yearling cattle 455, calves 12s. Pigs—liaconers 45s to 60s, porkers 40s to 42s Gd, stores 25s to 275, small pigs 10s to 18s. In the produce yards heavy crossbred sheepskins made 6s 4d, medium 4s 3d, lighter 3s; merinos Ss 6d. lambskins 3s sd, calf skins 2s 4d ; hides 4Jd per lb; wool pieces 4*Jd, fat. 1-Jd. Poultry— Roosters Gs per pair, bens 2s 9d. pulhts 4s 3d, ducks 4s. Chickwheat 3s per bushel, onts Is 6d, barley 3s, peameal 12s per sack, pig meal 9s; bran os, sharps 10s; potatoes 6s: oatsheaf chaff 45s per ton: peaches 3Jd per lb, plums 2d. apples 3s 6d per case, pears 3s 6d, tomatoes 2d per lb; onions 6d per string.
