At their West street salerooms, Ashburton. on Saturday, Messrs Friedlander Bros, offered, on account of 3lr •lames Nee. 100 acres of land situated clo«ir> to the Methven township. The land is of first-class quality, and erected thereon is a four-roomed cottage, «tahles. shearing shed, and sheep yards. Bidding started at £25 an acre, and quickly ran up to £30, at which price it was passed in.
