OLD SOLDIERS TO BE DEPORTED.
CAPETOWN, January 4. One of the Indians to be deported from the Transvaal served in four Indian campaigns, and in the Boor War. He was thrice wounded, and received many medals. His father was one of Lord Roberts's staff in the Kandahar campaign. Another Indian served for thirty years in the Indian Army.
