Harris and Gebbie, attended the last, meeting of the Little Hirer Jtoa'd Board, The matter of dealing with the closing of _ road iv Okute Valley was left to tho chairmen. Tho petitioners for a stock road along the railway lino through Prineo's Valley were advised to apply to the Akaroa County Council, on the ground that the road would be for the benefit of the whole county. The District Health Officer wrote regarding contagious diseases lately existing. Tho chairman reported having ordered a disinfecting machine, end the action was approved. In regard to Kin loch bridge, reported «s unsafe, it was decided tho chairman take any action regarding repairs ho might deem necessary. It was also resolved thit notice be given that the bridge is unsrfe for traffic, and persons using it will do so at their own risk. Accounts for £70 18s lid wero passed.
