EYRETON.
The last meeting of the Eyreton Road Board waa attended by Messrs Richard Evans (chairman), Burgiii. Hkevington and "Wright. Dr. Will, of Rangiora, reported a case of scarlet, fever at Swannanoa. The Mandevillo and Rangiora Road Board wrote, requesting to be informed if tho Board would contribute half the cost of a footlbridge over the Rangiora main drain at Easterbrook's road. It waa resolved that this Board could not comply with their request for want of funds, but would be willing to consider the niatter at a later date. Mr Wright pro]>oscd, and -Mr Uurgin seconded, that the Postmaster-General be requested to extend the postal delivery at Kninpoi to include Sneyd street, and that Mr Buddo, M.H.R., bo requested to use his influence to have tho request granted. The motion waa carried. It was resolved that small birds' eggs bo purchased nt twopenco per dozen. It was resolved that Henry Chapman's and P. Burrcll's rates be remitted. Accounts far £"120 10s Gd were passed.
