HOCKEY.
A match was played on tho Polo Groundf* between tho Christchurch and Addington Ladies' Hockey Clubs, and after « very hard game (tho grounds being very wet) resulted m a draw, neither side scoring. For Christchurch Misses Stead, Morton and Chrysball, and for Addington Mioses Robinson, Goodwin and Campbell played well. Mr J. Bowden was referee. canterburyT^vellington. The following havo been .■elected by Messrs Good and Hellyer to represent Canterbury against Wellington, at Lancaster Park, on Saturday next:—Goalkeeper A. Coooor* backs, P. Campbell and G.
