POULTRY AND PIGS.
At Saturday's markets there were good entries of poultry, which met with a brisk sale. Hone brought 2s 6d to 3s 6d, best roosters 4s fxl to 6s 3d, others 3s 6d to 4s 3d, pullets 4s to 6e, durks 4s to os. goose 5s to SS , 9d, turkey gobblers 20s to 30s, all at per pair. CJeo. Rollinson's Blnck Orpington pullete fiokl at Bs, 15«. and nn to 45s per pair, and cockerels 20s to 30s. There was a fair entry of pigs, and a clearance was effected at the following prions: —Porkers to 235, stores 19s 6d, suckers and weanors 4s to 7s 6d.
