HORSE SALES
Included in the entry of 96 horses at TnttersnlPs on Saturday were a number of pedigree draught mares from the stud of Mr W. F. M. Buckley (Hoon Hay), and they sold under, good competition as follows:—Lady Maoaulay, Byre, by Ma<sanl«y—Metal, 75@9, Mr Ben Topp, Sefton; bay mare, oyrs, full sister to Lady Macaulay, 65gs, Mr. A. McLaehlan, jun., Doyleston; Yonng Rose, Gyrs, by Macaulay—Rose, 78gs, and Bella MaeArthur, by Mac Arthur— Bella, 85gs, Mr J. B. Reid, Ganowie; Young Ruby, 2Jyrs, by Lord Ranfurly —Riibina, lOOgs, Mr R. H. Rhodes, Otahima. Of the ordinary entries medium draughts sold at £30 to £36 10s, best saddle and harness horses £16 to £23, medium £10 to £14, and hacks at the usual prices.
