To be able to bowl in winter time is rather a new experience in Canterbury, but, thanks to \he excellent work done in connection with the new green of the Canterbury Bowling Cub in Durham street, this was pcmnblo on Saturday afternoon. A number of the members of the c!ub assembled and had an informal game, the green playing nearly as well as if it had been established for many months of only a few weeks.
