South African files report the murder last month of Herbert Hynes, of Sydney, near Durban. It ie supposed that Hynes, while in a maudlin condition, was stunned with a stone, and beaten to death by a 'rickshaw puller, who has been on suspicion, having some of deceased'ti I>el6ngings in his possession. Hynes was a horse trainer in the employ of W. N. Willis, who is charged with connection with the New South Wale 6 land frauds.
