UNION (DUNEDIN) v. LINWOOD.

Playing against the wind, the visitors started proceedings. Fraser, finding touch well down, gave tue Greene a slight advantage. Ormandy was tho next to score, after a brilliant "solo" run, the tackling of the Dunedin backs being very poor. . Fraser, obtaining possession in the Union halt, potted a neat goal. The vwitore, by means of a good rush, placed tho homo team on the defensive, and an infringement gave the Maroons a chance, from which Reid landed ft fine goal. Not to be denied, Loader, who was playing a capital game, started another pasting -rurthr Frowr teing -very pWK minent. and pacing between Roberts and himself enabled Linwood to score another try.
