Huku and 'Stepdahcer did strong work over six furlongs, and Su.ra.nges, who was assisted by Bancast over the last half, rau a mile iv lmin 47 3-oth eeo. King Billy sprinted. four furlongs round the back. Ho waa timed to run the middle two in Msec. Holmes and Murray-Ayneley hed their teame out doing moderate tasks, and Clarke sent Malakoff twice round at » useful half paoe. Mahutonga put in en appearance after breakfast and trotted , twfee round. Fleka arrived yesterday, and looks well. Hβ was given two steady circuits. Full Cry* and Rotoiti, who were brought down from the north yesterday,' were out doing wslking exercise. Ellie Bros.' team, consisting of Juniper, Brighton, Bed Gauntlet. Blackstone, and Ostikoff, arrived from the south yesterday evening, and. were trotted: and cantered. Bed Gauntlet is looking particularly fit, but Blaokstone bears a very tightened up appearance.
