Grand Rapide, Melodeon, and Mjhutonga. are the only horses enquired for, and the local metaliiciana have all laid their full books. J. Frosser will leave for Eicoarton on Mondiy. Achilles, Exmoor, Chivalry. Fianien, Ghoorka, 'Marguerite, and Gold Crown claim engaßPmen-ts at tho C.J.C. fixture, and will comprise hia team. Boris will be sent to Auckland, end/ will represent the stable in the Groat Northern Guinea*. A. McMorran will probably have charge of tho colt, ar.d ride him in his engagements. Cyrus may not be taken to Chritrtchurch for the Cup. W. Davies takes Ballarat and . Hop* south early in the week. The pair have done, very little since the Wellington meeting, owing to the' inclement weather rendering the tracks very holding.
