CASUALTIES.
"A young fellow "scorching* along the East belt at lunch time yesterday, came into violent comsion with another cyclist, who was going along Worcester street. The latter sustained a nasty cut ou the forehead, and was temporarily stunned, whilst his bicycle was mangled "considerably. The scorcheand his machine esca])ed with hardly a scratch.

Edith Caroline Sarah Price, a single woman, aged 31, a canvasser for a Wellington botanical chemist, was found dead in bed at her lodgings in Nelson street shortly before eight o'clock this morning. She was subject to fits. Site was in high Mpirita when she retired at 9.30 o'clock last night. An inquest is to be held. WELLINGTON, November 2. Selina Boyd, aged twenty years, died suddenly shortly after having breakfast this morning. At an inquest concerning the death of a girl, Winifred Griffiths, a domestic servant, who died suddetily on Saturday night, a verdict was returned that death resulted from carbolic poisoning while deceased was temporarily insane.
