PIGS AND POULTRY
There was a largo entry of pigs at Saturday's market.*, and all sold well except small st.rts. Light porkers made 25s to 2"ls 6.1, Mores 14s- to 24.*. and Kickers and v.eaners 6s 3d to 13s 6d. Poultry was in good -supply, and met with a ready sale nt the following rate.': —Hecs 2s 6d to 3s 6d, pullets 5s 6d to 5s 3d, roosters 2& 6d to ss, ducks 4s to 5s 6d. geese 6s to 7s. hen turkeys S.s 6d, and gobblers 17s, all at per pair.
