HORSE SALES.
At Tattorsall's on Saturday there was an entry of 120 horse?, including 50 from the North Island, and six draughts from Mr Ja~s. Little, of Hawarden. There was a spirited sale for all sort<=. Mr Little's hcrs-es .old as follows: —Bay mare Nell £52, bay mare Jean £60. bay" mare Madam £56, bay mare Daisy £65," bay gelding Farmer £50. and a black gelding, a good harness hors.\ £32. Two and three-year-old light draughts from the. North Island made £28 to £41. tram and harness hone* £18 to £28. Other draughts sold at £35 to £45, medium £24 to £32, best saddle and harness horses £15 to £27, and others £8 to £12-
