Fiji news states that a deputation of commercial men waited on the Acting-As-sistant Colonial Secretary, in the absence of the Administrator, in reierenoe'.tq the duites imposed by thd federal tariff' on goods exported by Fiji. The Warden stated it was evident it would bo impossible to send maize or fruit to Sydney at a profit to the grower.
