Mr Barton says that a good many matters have to be considered before the Canadian suggestion regarding the tariff arrangements can be entertained. The most important will be the effect that such preference will have on the relation of Australia with other countries. ADELAIDE, October 30. A large meeting in the Town Hall condemned the Federal tariff on the same lines as those of Mr Reid's motion.
