KAIAPOI.
At the meeting.of the Kaiapoi Borough Council on Tuesday, the Mayor (Mr Daly) presiding, the receipts were stated to be £105 3s 3d, amount due bank £274 9s lid.. Accounts amounting to £105 10s*10d were passed for payment. It was decided to inspect the means for supplying the fire engine at High street. Cr. Blackwell advocated"obtaining, wire netting . for the suspension bridge, ami the question was deferred till nest meeting.
