The Bright Hours Children, assisted by Miss Marsden's juvenile orchestra, will give an «ntertainment at the Theatre Royal on Saturday afternoon, in aid of the funds of the Minisitering Children's League. The annual meeting of the Richmond Working Men's Club will be held to-morrow at 8 p.m. A meeting of farmers of Marshland and adjacent districts will be held in the (Marshland School to-night, re formation of a branch oi" the Farmers' Union. Arrangements are wdl under way in connection with- the baaaar to b© held on the30th and 31st inst. in aid of the New Ship Fund of the Melanesian Mission. A strong committee, with Mrs A. E. G. Rhodes as president, has b*en appointed, and no efforts will be spared to make the baaaar a success. The "Old English Fair," aa it will be called, will be opened by Lady Ranfurly at 2.30 p.m. on the 30th. novel side-shows are promised, and musical and dramatic performances will be arranged for.
