OBITUARY.
(P&ESS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.) DUNEDDN, October 21. Mr Kerr, the managing director of the "Evening Star" Company, died this morning from pleurisy: (SKEOIAI. TO "THE PBESS.") DUNEDIN, October 21. Mr Kerr, the manager director of the "Evening Star" Company,- who died this morning, arrived ■in Dunedin in 1864 from Tasmania. He afte—wam&s went to Valparaiso, where he managed a mine, returning to Dunedin in 1875. ~ Three weeks after his arrival he was appointed manager for Messrs Reid end Gray, a position which he held until July, 1900, when he left to join the "Evening Star." His death was very sodden. He returned to Dunedin last Saturday week from Australia, where he had been for his health.
